MCP = SUCCESS

The best three skills to solidify a great team is motivational, collaborative, and productive skills. It is evident we need to be able to read and write. Matter of fact look at the term productive. Arise from it is productivity. Productivity is what? A need in business. If you can read and write you are capable of retaining knowledge. If you can retain knowledge you are capable of thinking. If you can think than you can create ideas. If you can create ideas and they are good, you have productivity.

Collaborative skills is highly abused. However, not being able to communicate and understand your team can minimize the capabilities of any task placed before them. Everyone needs to be on the same page. It's a well known fact most companies who stay in business have a team who is loyal and willing to learn. They are willing to work together and put forth their strengths and weaknesses to build a more solid foundation. I believe if we put ourselves in positions for the right reasons we flourish. Negative impact will have no statue. Just being able to say "hi" is highly important. Influence is not based on how silent you are. Someone has to speak.

The third skill is the most important. I truly believe motivational skills is number one. I believe without this skill,  businesses will not flourish. It is time to start motivating.

Impossible Possibilities

What is impossible if all is possible?  Is it ourselves who place impossible on the possibility? Many will beg to differ. I don't agree or disagree.  What I have learned is that constraints are self made.

Do You Know Who You Are?

When you look in the mirror, what do you truly see? How do you feel about what is staring back at you? When I was a little girl, I never looked in the mirror and admired myself. There was a time I passed most mirrors and when I would do my hair, I always would put it in one ponytail because I just did not feel like standing there and taking the time to do it. I would say two minutes tops. LOL.

And I would go to school everyday with that same hairstyle. To get to the point, I forgot to face me.

It was not any easy task and it was not something easy to handle. It was a battle and a journey well fought by me. I went through many roller coasters and train rides and I traveled through many jungles, but I learned a lot along the way. I learned me. I lived me. I dealt with me. I looked in the mirror. I know who I am.

For those of you who have experienced this moment and never told a soul, I salute you. For those who have shared their story, I salute you. For those of you who know what I am saying but do not have the guts to deal with it, every night I will pray for you. For those of you who do not have a clue about what I am saying, every night I will pray for you.

Managing me, being the complicated person I am, has been complex. However, I do what any well trained manager would do, I continue to find the root cause of each and every single issue. I always hear so many people say how blessed and happy they are. I listen to people speak of feeling complete. However, I believe we guard those words too much. Being complete does not mean a person has it all together, it just means they understand how to get it together. The next time you are about to lie down and go to bed, stop and look in the mirror. Ask yourself, "What do I truly see?"
